| Field | Description |
| Common Name | The domain name you want to protect. If you’re requesting a wildcard certificate, an asterisk (*) must be added to the left of the domain you’re requesting a wildcard from, for example *.osinetworks.com. |
| Organization | The registered full name of the company. If you are registering personally, the name of the person requesting the certificate must be entered. |
| Organizational Unit | If available, enter the name your organization works for. |
| City or Place | The full name of the place where the company is located or registered. |
| State or Province | The full name of the state or province in which the firm is located. |
| Country | The country code of the country where your organization is officially registered, in the format of the International Standards Organization (ISO), consisting of two letters. Example: EN |
| Password (Optional) | A password for SSL. If you leave this field blank, it means there will be no SSL (private key) password. |
The resulting CSR file can be opened in a text editor. Copy the text here when applying for SSL.
